Haxorus (Japanese: オノノクス Ononokus) is a Dragon-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It evolves from Fraxure starting at level 48 and is the final form of Axew. Known for its formidable tusks and armored body, Haxorus is a bipedal creature with a distinctive dark, yellow-green covering and red claws.

In its backstory, Haxorus was the first Pokémon designed for the Pokémon Black and White games, created during the development of Pokémon Platinum. The design of Haxorus preceded its pre-evolved forms, Axew and Fraxure, and was influenced by the concept of a dinosaur that uses axe-like fangs in combat. This origin ties Haxorus to the Heterodontosaurus, a dinosaur known for its unique protruding teeth.

Within the Pokémon world, Haxorus plays a significant role as a powerful Dragon-type Pokémon. Its presence is notable in various games, where it is often seen in the teams of skilled trainers. Haxorus's high attack stats and formidable defense make it a valuable asset in battles, both in the main storyline and competitive play.
