Tauros (Japanese: ケンタロス Kentauros) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. As a quadrupedal, bovine Pokémon, Tauros is recognized for its strength and aggressive nature. It is a male-only species and does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon. Tauros is often considered the counterpart of Miltank, another bovine Pokémon.

Tauros's backstory reveals it as a wild and powerful creature found in herds across various regions.
