Shedinja
Shedinja (Japanese: ヌケニン Nukenin) is a dual-type Bug/Ghost Pokémon introduced in Generation III of the Pokémon series. It is known for its unique method of appearance, which occurs when a Nincada evolves into Ninjask at level 20, provided that the player has an empty slot in their party and an extra Poké Ball. Shedinja is particularly notable for its distinctive appearance and the unusual circumstances surrounding its evolution.
Shedinja's backstory is deeply intertwined with its pre-evolution, Nincada. When Nincada evolves into Ninjask, it sheds its exoskeleton, which then becomes Shedinja. This peculiar transformation results in Shedinja being an empty shell, capturing the essence of a cicada's shed husk. The process of creating Shedinja is unique within the Pokémon series, as it simultaneously represents both an evolutionary process and the birth of an entirely new entity. According to lore, looking into the hole on Shedinja's back is said to steal one's spirit, adding a mysterious and somewhat eerie element to this Pokémon's backstory.

Despite having only 1 HP, Shedinja's Wonder Guard ability makes it immune to 13 out of 18 move types, the most of any Pokémon.
