Blacephalon (Japanese: ズガドーン Zugadoon) is a dual-type Fire/Ghost Ultra Beast introduced in the Pokémon series during Generation VII, specifically in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. It is known by the code name UB Burst (Japanese: ＵＢ：ＢＵＲＳＴ UB: Burst). Unlike many Pokémon, Blacephalon does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon.
Blacephalon's backstory is rooted in the mysterious world of Ultra Beasts, strange creatures from other dimensions that entered the Pokémon world through Ultra Wormholes. It made its debut in the Alola region, where players encounter it during their adventures. As an Ultra Beast, Blacephalon is one of the entities summoned through these interdimensional portals, causing chaos and intrigue with its unusual appearance and abilities.
