In the Alola region, Marowak has a dual-type Fire/Ghost regional form, evolving from Cubone when leveled up at night starting at level 28. Regardless of their origin, all Cubone in Alola evolve into this form.

This Alolan Marowak is imbued with a special energy from Ultra Wormholes, known as Z-Power, which manifests as a golden, flaring aura.
