Seedot evolves into Nuzleaf starting at level 14, which subsequently evolves into Shiftry when exposed to a Leaf Stone. Seedot's backstory centers around its natural habitat and behavior. This small, brown plant Pokémon thrives in forested areas where it hangs from tree branches, absorbing moisture and nutrients from the trees. This form of sustenance continues until the Pokémon becomes too heavy and falls to the ground. Seedot has adapted this lifestyle to blend into its environment, often being mistaken for an actual acorn. It is exclusive to Pokémon Ruby, while its counterpart Lotad is exclusive to Pokémon Sapphire, creating a complementary dynamic between the two games. Seedot polishes itself daily with leaves, and its body becomes glossier the more it absorbs nutrients. In terms of abilities, Seedot can have either Chlorophyll, which doubles its Speed in sunny weather, or Early Bird, which reduces the time it stays asleep.
