Giratina (Japanese: ギラティナ Giratina) is a dual-type Ghost/Dragon Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It is known for its unique ability to switch between two forms: Altered Forme and Origin Forme. Giratina does not evolve into or from any other Pokémon and transforms between its forms under specific conditions, such as holding a Griseous Orb or Griseous Core, or when it is in its home dimension, the Distortion World.
